this will continue to occur after every update to the tvs software.
I'm thinking that this is either a problem with the app or a memory problem in the TV. My LG is 47LM6200My internet connection to the TV is via 500 mbps Homeplug ."However, when using the Netflix app, I do. tag=content Body;thread Listing I'm not sure how these makers are going to fair or handle such silly things. Asking consumers to set the clock didn't work on the VCR either.
Worse still the buffering process locks up with the 'thermometer' nowhere near 100%. Bob I have a total of 3 LG Smart TVs and two of the TVs have the updated software and it won't properly buffer Netflix.
If a software update is available for your Blu-ray player, it will start downloading automatically.
A dialog box will appear after the upgrade file is successfully downloaded.
Remove any discs that are in the Samsung Blu-ray player and press the "Menu" button on the remote control.

I try to load the Netflix premium app, and on the bottom left corner it reads "last update 7/11/2015" and the only option I am given when I click on the Netflix app is to select "Update" and I choose that and a little box appears in the top right-hand corner that reads "Netflix termporary error - please try again later." Of course, when calling customer service for both, each blame one another and say to contact them. I have even reset the factory settings on the television, as well as ran updates. May have to take them to small claims but here's the thing. You Tube works fine but I get the "Temporary Error" message when I try to update Netflix.
I spoke with LG customer service and they claim that they are working on a fix but who knows. I had a buffering problem on netflix and when using the plex media server to streem movies to my LG tv I use a LG wirless dongle to connect to my wireless router and I found two problems (1) found I was getting interference from next doors wirless router that was on the same channel as my wirless router so I loged into the rouiter and changed the channel (2) the dongle when pluged directly into the tv was getting interference from the tv the fix was to get a 2 meetre USB extention lead to move the dongle away from the TV I'm getting a buffering problem with Netflix on my LG set. Also, if you need to call Netflix(number right on bottom of log in screen on TV) call first thing in the morning - got right through to a person:-)NETFLIX and YOUTUBE Smart TV buffering issues - *FIX*Are you suffering with buffering issues with the above apps on you Smart TV?
Both LG and Netflix were amazingly UN-helpful in that 'well it's not us' kind of way. Tried everything except the peanut butter sandwich in the DVD drive tray. Do you have a PC or Laptop on the same network as the TV?
